DALLAS CITYSCAPE (DCS) is a fundraising exhibit benefiting East Dallas Community Schools (EDCS). The exhibit features art sculptures of famous Dallas landmarks, built to-scale, and made mostly from LEGO® bricks and other toy elements. A local couple, Laurie and David Matthews, introduced DALLAS CITYSCAPE in the summer of 2010 with the primary goal of supporting early childhood education. With the help of the Communities Foundation of Texas, the Matthews were introduced to Terry Ford and East Dallas Community Schools (EDCS). EDCS has a proven record of developing young children, from economically challenged areas of Dallas, in the love of learning through Montessori principles. EDCS serves more than 500 children and their families at three campuses: two in Old East Dallas and one in the Bachman Lake area. DALLAS CITYSCAPE is partnering for a second year with Galleria Dallas for a summer exhibit from June 29th through September 2nd. The exhibit features 15 of Dallas’ most recognized landmarks built by former LEGO® Brick Artist, Kurt Zimmerle.

We like this one because pre-season tickets tend to be pretty cheap usually! The Dallas Cowboys play the Bengals in a preseason game. 8 p.m.
